LITURGICAL HOLY WEEK IN NAVARRA

Live the true essence of Holy Week through the various liturgical acts that Navarra offers, many of them declared of national tourist interest.
Holy Friday
Santo Entierro de la Dolorosa (Pamplona) . At 19:30 This is the most representative act of Holy Week in Pamplona. Twelve steps parade before the silent and serene gaze of those present through the Historic Center of Pamplona, illuminated by the light of the candles. At midnight, the Virgin is again transferred to the Parish of San Lorenzo, fulfilling the "Return of Solitude."
Corella Baroque Parade. In the Ribera de Navarra, starting at 20:00 in the afternoon, the parade of baroque steps from the 17th century begins, which in 1967 was declared a "Procession of Tourist Interest" by the Ministry of Information and Tourism for being one of the fifty most characteristic and original processional parades in Spain.
Holy Saturday
In Tudela, thousands of visitors attend the ceremonies declared Festivities of National Tourist Interest since 2002 that take place throughout the weekend.
Volatin Ceremony (Tudela) Very particular act, declared of national tourist interest, which is performed at 10:00 in the morning in the Plaza de los Fueros de Tudela and which recalls the betrayal of Judas Iscariot.
Resurrection Sunday
The descent of the Angel (Tudela) 9:00 An act in which the protagonist, a child, dressed as an angel, will descend to remove the veil from the face of the Virgin, who is moved from the Cathedral to the Plaza de los Fueros.
