The “smart cost” concept, in contrast to the well-known “low cost”, is a term created by the Spanish hotel chain Bed4u to apply to its product that, at a low and competitive price , allows the client not to renounce services and attention essential in a hotel.
The Smart Cost formula focuses on offering a wide range of "basic and high-quality" services, dispensing with superfluous elements that do not add value to the room. The objective is the adjusted rates , in which the client pays exclusively for what he needs.
Smart cost products are intended for customers who are looking for more for their money. It is not the "low cost" customer who only seeks the lowest price and a simple and basic service, but rather the smart customer seeks to obtain more service for that low price. He is an intelligent customer who dispenses with the superfluous but does not renounce the comforts and service that he considers essential.
